Second-home buyers are deterred by high rates here in the states, but there is encouraging news overseas. Portugal, one of my favorite places on the planet, rated as the best country to buy a second home. The home pictured here is in Sintra and where I would buy and, clearly, I’m in good company. I think I’ll brush up on my Portuguese.
